Delny holiday autumn 2014, day 4
Halfway through the week already! Today was a lot better than yesterday, I’m still super jazzed about what I got done today! Tomorrow, Loch Ness maybe!
Cromarty/Nigg photos part 2 (aka BOOOOOOOAT).
The parents and I decided to do something we don’t usually do, and took a ferry from Cromarty, across the Cromarty Firth to Nigg (A 10 minute journey, it cost about £30 and damn it was worth it). I got some awesome angles along the way!
Top photo was taken when we were embarking on the short voyage. Middle three photos are of the Stena Teekay, a shot of Cromarty (You can see the beach where I took the photos from the first post) and the Nigg side of the Sutors.
The bottom photo is of the Cromarty side of the Sutors, but I’m particularly proud of this one as it has a good view of Ben Rinnes (The tallest mountain off in the distance) - That’s the mountain that Ben’s named after (His kennel club name was Ben Rinnes Lord, so we called him Ben for short |D)
Cromarty, part 1 (aka beachside photos)
Up top are the Sutors of Cromarty (The one on the left is the Nigg side, the one on the right is the Cromarty side). Down below is the Stena Teekay and the docks over at Nigg.
Stay tuned for part 2 (aka BOOOOOOOAT)
Went to Cromarty, got some photos taken, and then we decided to do something we’ve never done before - take a ferry from Cromarty to Nigg (It’s a 10 minute journey across a small body of water).
No regrets, that was hands-down the most fun I’ve had in a while. I’ll try and get photos to you tonight, if the internet behaves!
Whew, feeling a /lot/ better after a valerian-free sleep. I can’t remember much of what I dreamed last night, but I was time travelling and I had a shotgun, so whatever it was, it must’ve been kickass.
Okay, so the plan today is to travel around the Black Isle area (which includes Cromarty among other places) and take lots of scenery photos. Sharing them might be tough as the internet here is shite but I’ll see what I can get for you all!
Apart from a rough sleep and a reminder of why Valerian does bad things to my brain, today’s been alright!
Gonna share some photos from Inverness and the surrounding area in a bit, depending on how the internet behaves in the pub! Mostly it’s of Ben Wyvis from different angles, though the Kessock Bridge is in there too :D
I’ll be fine but it shook me a fair bit. Occasionally I have these dreams where David is still around, and it kinda hits me hard when I wake up and remember the reality. I’ve woken up feeling down and grumpy as a result, but I’ll be fine. Just needed to talk about it.
Anyways, Inverness today, I’ll see if I can get some good snaps!
Hard to say, but out of the newcomers? I kinda want to say Villager. They can be a bit tricky to handle but their up smash (Setting off a firework cannon) is ridiculously fun on Battlefield, especially because you can use it to hit someone on a platform above you quite easily.
On the other hand, Mega Man was a bit difficult to get the hang of (He was the first character I lost as on the demo), but damn he’s satisfying to play as once you get the hang of him. And his final smash is rather cathartic. |D (Also I won’t be able to stop making Protomen references with him around)
